About the Archive fuzz PCB

Archive fuzz is an open source RP2040/RP2350 PCB design by ravinder-Olivier, published on GitHub. It is a board, with 57 components from 36 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family. Other key parts include the ROB-14450, LM7805_TO220, LD1117V33, 74HC595 and D168K. By type, the board carries 20 capacitors, 15 resistors, 10 ICs, 8 diodes, 3 connectors and 1 module.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

A preset enabled Tonebender Mark 1.5 inspired by Chase Bliss's Preamp Mark II, with moving faders, preset recall, and MIDI. Without compromising on its analog heritage.

Archive fuzz: common questions

What microcontroller does the Archive fuzz use?

The Archive fuzz is built around the RaspberryPi_Pico, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How many components are on the Archive fuzz?

57 components, from 36 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Archive fuzz design files?

From the ravinder-Olivier/archive-fuzz repository on GitHub, which has the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Archive fuzz design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with ravinder-Olivier. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Archive fuzz without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
