DNP means “do not place”: JLC will not install that whole group of parts. You solder them yourself later, or you fix the order before manufacturing so those spots get real parts from the JLC library. The DNP groups are listed in gerber/rev. c/GDI-4ch.csv — resistors R1, R37, R44, R55, R80, R81, R82, R83, R87, R89, R90, R121 and R5, R28, R30, R32, R117, R118, R119, R120.

GDI-4ch: common questions

What microcontroller does the GDI-4ch use?

The GDI-4ch is built around the STM32F103C8TX, from the STM32 family.

How big is the GDI-4ch PCB?

The GDI-4ch measures 164 × 118 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the GDI-4ch?

303 components, from 75 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the GDI-4ch design files?

From the rusefi/rusefi-hardware repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the GDI-4ch design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with rusefi. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the GDI-4ch without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug STM32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
