About the Devboard PCB
Devboard is an open source ESP32 PCB design by Soraxem, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 26.4 × 41.7 mm, with 18 components from 12 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-S3-MINI-1U, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the IP4234CZ6 and ADP2108AUJ-3.3. By type, the board carries 5 capacitors, 4 resistors, 3 ICs, 3 connectors, 2 switches and 1 inductor.
It belongs with the iot & wireless and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

Open Lighting hardware
This is a Trance-Controller that can be plugged into Eurolite Quick-DMX USB ports. With this there is no need to power the Controller.
To ensure a flexible and easy software, there is a Arduino library, that implements the communication side of the software. By updating this Library with more Protocols or more reliable networking, we can expand the functionallity of every trance controller, despite different hardware.

Devboard: common questions
What microcontroller does the Devboard use?
The Devboard is built around the ESP32-S3-MINI-1U, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Devboard PCB?
The Devboard measures 26.4 × 41.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Devboard?
18 components, from 12 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Devboard design files?
From the Soraxem/trance repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Devboard design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license, which Soraxem chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Devboard without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
