From the project
An RGB LED version of the game 2048
A custom ESP32 dev board with a built in 4x4 RGB LED Matrix and accelerometer.
Built to run an RGB version of 2048 - a simple but addictive game where you try to add up to 2048 by combining matching numbers on sliding tiles.

Tiny2048: common questions
What microcontroller does the Tiny2048 use?
The Tiny2048 is built around the ESP32-S3-MINI-1-N8, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Tiny2048 PCB?
The Tiny2048 measures 50 × 50 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Tiny2048?
51 components, from 27 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Tiny2048 design files?
From the thip/Tiny2048 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Tiny2048 design in my own project?
It is published under CC-BY-NC-4.0, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.
Can I test firmware for the Tiny2048 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
