PCB files for the open and flexible security key - TKey
This repository contains the PCB design and manufacturing files for the flexible Open Source security key, TKey (TK1).
This is part of a larger project that includes firmware and FPGA designs, which are housed at tillitis-key1.
For more general information about the TKey see, - www.tillitis.se - shop.tillitis.se - TKey Developer Handbook
The earlier version of TK1, such as the mta1-usb-v1 and mta1-usb-dev, that can be found under prototypes/ are kept for historical reasons. TK1 is the only version that is maintained and developed.

Mta1-usb v1: common questions
What microcontroller does the Mta1-usb v1 use?
The Mta1-usb v1 is built around the ICE40UP5K-SG48ITR, from the FPGA family.
How big is the Mta1-usb v1 PCB?
The Mta1-usb v1 measures 28.4 × 13.5 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 0.8 mm thick.
How many components are on the Mta1-usb v1?
47 components, from 20 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Mta1-usb v1 design files?
From the tillitis/tk1-pcba repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Mta1-usb v1 design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-S-2.0 license, which tillitis chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Mta1-usb v1 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug FPGA firmware against it before you order a PCB.
