From the project

Arbitrary Waveform Generator for the Raspberry Pi Pico 16 Channels

TODO - Implement Control of 16 Channels to Control Amplitude, Frequency, Offset - Read Back Output with Monitor to see the output - Control LED s as needed

TODO - Update PCB design to include RP2040 directly and a cheaper OP AMP - Update PCB design to shrink the design down to a more reasonable size and add a small status display beyond the current 5 status LEDs.

EIT-Machine: common questions

What microcontroller does the EIT-Machine use?

The EIT-Machine is built around the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the EIT-Machine PCB?

The EIT-Machine measures 200 × 130 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the EIT-Machine?

356 components, from 45 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the EIT-Machine design files?

From the Alberta2514640/EIT-Machine repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the EIT-Machine design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Alberta2514640. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the EIT-Machine without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
