From the project

This directory contains the firmware and hardware design for the Mia-ou connected pet collar embedded system.

This directory contains the firmware and hardware design for the Mia-ou connected pet collar embedded system.

The embedded system is built around an ESP32-H2 microcontroller and integrates multiple sensors and communication modules to provide comprehensive pet monitoring capabilities. The firmware is written in Rust NO_STD using the Embassy async framework and the esp-hal.

Mia ou: common questions

What microcontroller does the Mia ou use?

The Mia ou is built around the ESP32-H2-MINI-1, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Mia ou PCB?

The Mia ou measures 50 × 22 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Mia ou?

56 components, from 31 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Mia ou design files?

From the antoine-prrn/mia-ou repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Mia ou design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with antoine-prrn. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Mia ou without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
