RP2040 macropad for supervising AI coding agents: 13 hot-swap keys with per-key RGB status, encoder, joystick, 4-layer PCB, CircuitPython firmware, printable enclosure
AgentDeck is an open-source desk macropad for supervising AI coding agents.
AgentDeck is optimized for people running several coding agents at once who want glanceable status and one-hand control. It is a desk device, not a portable one: USB-C only, no battery, no radio.
Six agent keys light up with each agent's live state (idle, thinking, working, blocked, done). Press one to focus that session. The command keys accept or reject work, the dial scrubs and confirms, and the joystick navigates. A host bridge maps Claude Code hooks to the key colours, so the board answers "which of my sessions…

Agentdeck: common questions
What microcontroller does the Agentdeck use?
The Agentdeck is built around the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N8R2, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Agentdeck PCB?
The Agentdeck measures 150 × 110 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Agentdeck?
119 components, from 27 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Agentdeck design files?
From the Brillar0101/agentdeck repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Agentdeck design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which Brillar0101 chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the Agentdeck without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
