Open-source ESP32 sensor carrier for building monitoring.
SensoCore is an open, reconfigurable hardware platform designed for multi-domain building monitoring. A common ESP32 carrier PCB supports four distinct instrument configurations: indoor air quality, indoor acoustic, outdoor acoustic, and timber-moisture monitoring. All configurations share the same electronics, communication infrastructure, and telemetry framework while differing in sensor payload, firmware, and enclosure design.

SensoCore: common questions
What microcontroller does the SensoCore use?
The SensoCore is built around the ESP32-WROOM-32E, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the SensoCore PCB?
The SensoCore measures 57.5 × 72 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the SensoCore?
71 components, from 34 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the SensoCore design files?
From the Dormage/SensoCore repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the SensoCore design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Dormage. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the SensoCore without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
