About the Pls00 PCB

Pls00 is an open source PCB design by gzweigle, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 34.3 × 6.4 mm, with 5 components from 3 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 3 resistors and 2 connectors.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Building a hybrid MIDI digital piano

Pedal output voltage must be in range 0V to the ADC Vref volts.

The PLS board adds one pulldown resistor to each pedal T output. There are three pedals, so that means there are 3 T outputs and 3 resistors on the PLS circuit board: R1, R2, and R3.

Select resistance such that output voltage does not exceed ADC Vref. See recommendations below.

This sets maximum pedal output at 2.0 volts. The ADC Vref for this piano is 2.5 volts.
