About the Hps07 PCB

Hps07 is an open source PCB design by gzweigle, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 38.1 × 10.2 mm, with 5 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the CNY70. By type, the board carries 2 resistors, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Building a hybrid MIDI digital piano

Originally, the HPS PCB was for hammers. However, the sensor also works for dampers. Not changing the name because many circuit boards have already been built.

Version 0.7 is the same as version 0.6 except with a different header pin order. This provides a better physical match to some mainboards.

This circuit board includes a trimming resistor. Unless needed for a specific use case, the circuit board with trimming resistor is not recommended.
