About the Hps06 PCB

Hps06 is an open source PCB design by gzweigle, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 38.1 × 10.2 mm, with 5 components from 4 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the CNY70. By type, the board carries 2 resistors, 1 IC and 1 connector.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Building a hybrid MIDI digital piano

Originally, the HPS PCB was for hammers. However, the sensor also works for dampers. Not changing the name because many circuit boards have already been built.

This circuit board includes a trimming resistor. Unless needed for a specific use case, the circuit board with trimming resistor is not recommended.

Adjust the RV0 trimming resistor to get the output voltage in the correct range. A 1.0mm flathead screwdriver is required. Turn the screw slowly and gently. Information according to the datasheet [Bourns 3224 - 4mm SMD Trimpot Trimming Potentiometer, C1753 5/17/18]: Adjustment angle = 12…
