About the CommsRev0 PCB

CommsRev0 is an open source PCB design by Kmshanley, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 40 × 40 mm, with 32 components from 22 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the BGA2801, BGA420, AS179-92LF, SX1278 and 74LVC1G19. By type, the board carries 19 capacitors, 5 ICs, 3 connectors, 3 inductors, 1 crystal and 1 resistor.

It belongs with the rf & radio and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

The pocket cube standard requires satellites to be 5x5x5cm and under 250 grams. Upon completion of this Wentworth PicoSat it will become one of the smallest satellites capable of high resolution imagery from LEO.
