About the BaseplateBackup PCB

BaseplateBackup is an open source PCB design by Kmshanley, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 64 × 58 mm, with 38 components from 19 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the RP604K331A-TR, INA236AIDDFR, TMP117MAIDRVR, OPT4048DTSR and TPS62840DLCR. By type, the board carries 10 capacitors, 9 ICs, 8 connectors, 5 resistors, 2 transistors and 2 switches.

It belongs with the sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

The pocket cube standard requires satellites to be 5x5x5cm and under 250 grams. Upon completion of this Wentworth PicoSat it will become one of the smallest satellites capable of high resolution imagery from LEO.
