ESP32-C3-Low-Power-IoT-Plant-Node is an open source ESP32 PCB design by mohamed-sebbar, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-W-2.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 59.5 × 29.9 mm, with 65 components from 34 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ESP32-C3, from the ESP32 family. Other key parts include the USBLC6-2P6, SHT4X, W25Q16JVSS, TPS61200DRC and MCP73831-2-MC. By type, the board carries 25 capacitors, 17 resistors, 7 ICs, 3 connectors, 3 inductors and 2 transistors.

It belongs with the iot & wireless, power & battery and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

Hardware redesign of a smart irrigation system featuring a custom 4-layer ESP32-C3 PCB with RF-aware layout, battery management, environmental sensing, and automated irrigation control.

This repository presents the complete hardware design of a compact ESP32-C3 based IoT plant monitoring node developed as an engineering-focused redesign of a previously demonstrated smart irrigation concept.

Where the original project validated the overall application concept, this work focuses on the complete hardware architecture, RF-aware PCB layout, mixed-signal design, manufacturability, power integrity, and long-term maintainability of a production-oriented embedded platform.
