From the project
RP2040 based firmware and hardware for DIY Taiko no Tatsujin Drum Controllers
This board hosts a Waveshare RP2040-Zero or RP2350-Zero microcontroller unit and provides signal conditioning for the piezo drum triggers. The conditioning circuit is reverse engineered from the V260 SIF PCB found in the original arcades. In contrast to the original DonConIO this board uses mainly SMD parts... less authentic but way better noise characteristics.

DonConIOmini: common questions
What microcontroller does the DonConIOmini use?
The DonConIOmini is built around the RP2040-Zero, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.
How big is the DonConIOmini PCB?
The DonConIOmini measures 54 × 64 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the DonConIOmini?
89 components, from 29 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the DonConIOmini design files?
From the ravinrabbid/DonCon2040 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the DonConIOmini design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which ravinrabbid chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the DonConIOmini without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
