About the Joysticks PCB

Joysticks is an open source PCB design by sadekbaroudi, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 25 × 25 mm, with 6 components from 5 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 4 connectors and 1 switch.

From the project

This is a vik module to support the following joysticks: adafruit 2765 sparkfun 9032 * nintendo joycon joystick

Please note that this PCB does not support the click on the sparkfun analog joystick, only x and y movements

For PCB fabrication, you can use the files in the production folder.

gerbers.zip - the file used to fabricate the pcb bom.csv - used for PCBA. You can also use the part numbers in this file to look up the exact parts as lcsc.com * positions.csv - used for PCBA

Joysticks: common questions

How big is the Joysticks PCB?

The Joysticks measures 25 × 25 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Joysticks?

6 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Joysticks design files?

From the sadekbaroudi/vik repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Joysticks design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license, which sadekbaroudi chose for the repository.
