About the Vik universal PCB
Vik universal is an open source PCB design by sadekbaroudi, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 44.5 × 43 mm, with 150 components from 5 distinct parts.
By type, the board carries 146 jumpers, 2 connectors and 2 resistors.
From the project
This is a simple pcb that allows you to connect any series of up to 12 pin headers to a VIK connector, in any order.
This is a simple pcb that allows you to connect any series of up to 12 pin headers to a VIK connector, in any order.
You solder 1 (and ONLY 1) jumper per row, and it connects it to the corresponding VIK signal.
For PCB fabrication, you can use the files in the production folder.
gerbers.zip - the file used to fabricate the pcb bom.csv - used for PCBA. You can also use the part numbers in this file to look up the exact parts as lcsc.com * positions.csv - used for PCBA

Vik universal: common questions
How big is the Vik universal PCB?
The Vik universal measures 44.5 × 43 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Vik universal?
150 components, from 5 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Vik universal design files?
From the sadekbaroudi/vik repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Vik universal design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its CERN-OHL-P-2.0 license, which sadekbaroudi chose for the repository.
