About the Microphone PCB

Microphone is an open source PCB design by satomm1, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 20.8 × 15 mm, with 3 components from 3 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 1 connector, 1 microphone and 1 capacitor.

It belongs with the robotics & motion and audio designs in this gallery.

1. Attach the gasket, making a hole slightly larger than the microphone port (be sure the hole is big enough even after the gasket is compressed). For the gasket, I use a foam-like double sided tape.

Microphone: common questions

How big is the Microphone PCB?

The Microphone measures 20.8 × 15 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.64592 mm thick.

How many components are on the Microphone?

3 components, from 3 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Microphone design files?

From the satomm1/Robot repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Microphone design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which satomm1 chose for the repository.
