The deliverables folder should contain documentation about your project as outlined in the lab documents.
The hw folder should contain your schematic and board files for your PCB or circuits. In labs 3-11, you will be creating schematics for your circuit in EAGLE. A setup tutorial can be found here.
The sw folder should contain your application firmware and software written for the lab. The sw/inc folder contains firmware drivers written for you by Professor Valvano. Feel free to write your own (in fact, in some labs, you may be required to write your own).

ECE 445L Baseline Project: common questions
What microcontroller does the ECE 445L Baseline Project use?
The ECE 445L Baseline Project is built around the ESP8266-01/ESP-01, from the ESP8266 family.
How big is the ECE 445L Baseline Project PCB?
The ECE 445L Baseline Project measures 93.5 × 153.7 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the ECE 445L Baseline Project?
44 components, from 26 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the ECE 445L Baseline Project design files?
From the Siddhant779/FinalLab445L repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the ECE 445L Baseline Project design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Siddhant779. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the ECE 445L Baseline Project without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP8266 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
