A collection of computer cards using the VME bus as a common backplane, in the style of modular computer equipment, laboratory test equipment, and industrial controls systems. The project name is a combination of Retro-computers (newly designed and built computers that are based on old CPUs and parts), and Versa (the V in VME, which stands for Versa Module Eurocard).
