MemBird - Woodcock is an open source PCB design by transistorfet: a 4-layer, 100 × 100 mm board with 48 components (23 distinct parts). It is built around the AP7361EA-33E-13, VME64-P1-3R, 74HC14, 74HC86 and more. Filed under retro computing.

A collection of VME-based hardware and software for modular computers

A 16-bit VME memory card with 4MB of Static RAM at either 5V or 3.3V

It's named after the American Woodcock, a small bird that moves along with a slow rhythmic walk, since this card only has a small amount of memory, and will be slower to access, being only 16-bits.

They are very cute birds, with an adorable walk, and a funny call https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fpCO6CUH8Zc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97nnyyvXzmA
