About the 1fNoiseAmplifierRev13 PCB

1fNoiseAmplifierRev13 is an open source PCB design by curtisseizert, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 6-layer board measuring 140 × 100 mm, with 375 components from 100 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the ADA4807-1, ADA4622-2, DG636EEQ, OPA140 and OPA2191. By type, the board carries 119 resistors, 110 capacitors, 47 transistors, 40 ICs, 36 connectors and 18 diodes.

It belongs with the audio and power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

A 0.01Hz-1+MHz low noise amplifier

Current Status -------------- I have made two of these and have done a fair amount of testing to nail down root causes of some of the issues (see later in this readme) that have proven to be a bit of a nuisance. I am also moving things around a bit on the battery and battery charger boards to allow a board-to-board connection of the two and increase the clearance between the battery board and the amplifier board. I have also tested improvements to the input stage that significantly reduce the low frequency noise, lowering the 1/f corner to <1 Hz. These are detailed in the issues section #7.
