From the project
Smart Home Module NRF24 // All-in-one microcontroller baseboard
This PCB is a universal microcontroller board with many optionally placable components. It aims to be an universal base-board for many projects especially around home automation.
*) GPIO can be connected to this pin by bridging the mentioned jumper
ATTENTION: When the MAX3485 is mounted the Arduino doesn't want to be programmed most of the time. So make sure to pull pin P3 to 3.3V. ## BOM There are multiple different module groups that can be populated.

SHMod24: common questions
What microcontroller does the SHMod24 use?
The SHMod24 is built around the ESP-12, from the ESP8266 family.
How big is the SHMod24 PCB?
The SHMod24 measures 49.5 × 49.5 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the SHMod24?
64 components, from 40 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the SHMod24 design files?
From the LeoDJ/SHMod24 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the SHMod24 design in my own project?
Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which LeoDJ chose for the repository.
Can I test firmware for the SHMod24 without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP8266 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
