About the Main pcb 2025

Main pcb 2025 is an open source Raspberry Pi PCB design by matthieuvigne, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 56 × 65.6 mm, with 69 components from 26 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the PI40HAT, from the Raspberry Pi family. Other key parts include the PCA9546AD, SN74LVC1G125DBVR, SN74LVC1G04DBVR, Pololu_MAX14870 and SN74AHCT1G126DBVR. By type, the board carries 15 connectors, 9 resistors, 8 transistors, 8 diodes, 7 ICs and 3 capacitors.

It belongs with the robotics & motion designs in this gallery.

From the project

Generic repo for robotic projects with the former MiAM Eurobot team !

This repo contains information and software for robotic-related projects done with the MiAM Eurobot team.

Our robot architecture are based off an embedded linux on an ARM platform, Raspberry Pi or Beaglebone Black, programmed in C++. We also use Arduinos as slaves for low-level tasks such as motor control or sensor handling - using serial communication through USB.

Main pcb 2025: common questions

What microcontroller does the Main pcb 2025 use?

The Main pcb 2025 is built around the PI40HAT, from the Raspberry Pi family.

How big is the Main pcb 2025?

The Main pcb 2025 measures 56 × 65.6 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Main pcb 2025?

69 components, from 26 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Main pcb 2025 design files?

From the matthieuvigne/MiAM_robotics repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Main pcb 2025 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which matthieuvigne chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the Main pcb 2025 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug Raspberry Pi firmware against it before you order a PCB.
