About the SNES Advanced UV 1-0 new PCB

SNES Advanced UV 1-0 new is an open source PIC PCB design by MouseBiteLabs, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 116.2 × 79.2 mm, with 47 components from 19 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the PIC12F629, from the PIC family. Other key parts include the 27C322, AS6C1008, 74CBTLV3257, 74LS139 and 74HC74. By type, the board carries 13 ICs, 10 capacitors, 7 resistors, 3 transistors, 3 diodes and 2 test points.

From the project

A collection of Super Nintendo cartridge circuit boards

This is an updated design of my old SNES Advanced cartridge boards, which utilize older UV EPROM chips 27C160 and/or 27C322. Functionally, this design is the same as the older one, but under the hood I have ported the project over from Eagle to KiCad, and heavily cleaned up the schematic and some of the trace routings. This version is also fully open source.
