About the Arduino UNO R4 WiFi PCB

Arduino UNO R4 WiFi is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by sabogalc, published on GitHub under the WTFPL license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 68.6 × 53.3 mm, with 217 components from 42 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the R7FA4M1AB3CFM#AA0, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the TS5A3159ADCK, ISL854102FRZ-T, TXB0108DQSR and AP7361C-33E. By type, the board carries 99 diodes, 60 resistors, 28 capacitors, 10 connectors, 6 ICs and 4 LEDs.

It belongs with the iot & wireless designs in this gallery.

From the project

A collection of Arduino boards recreated from scratch in KiCad. Legacy USB connectors have been replaced with USB-C where applicable.

As soon as I saw the 96 LED array on this board, I knew that I would be in for some work, and of all the boards in this repository, this is the only one that I am not confident would pass a fabricator's specifications. I will highlight the parts of this board that I think may be problematic below.

Firstly, the 3.3V fuse is extremely close to a GND pad on the USB-C port, which could be a possible weak point for a 3.3V short to GND to happen.
