A compact, custom-designed ESP32-C3 development board with USB-C connectivity, onboard antenna, and a clean PCB layout.

The board features a USB-C connector on the left side, two tactile switches (BOOT and EN), the ESP32-C3 QFN package at the center-right, a PCB trace antenna on the far right, and a 4-pin UART header (3V3, RXD, TXD, GND) along the bottom edge. All passives are 0402/0603 for a tight layout. with onboard temp humidity barometer and pressure ---

Esp32c3: common questions

What microcontroller does the Esp32c3 use?

The Esp32c3 is built around the ESP32-C3, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Esp32c3 PCB?

The Esp32c3 measures 40.8 × 20 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Esp32c3?

47 components, from 23 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Esp32c3 design files?

From the souptik-samanta/esp32c3 repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Esp32c3 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with souptik-samanta. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Esp32c3 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
