About the BE6502 SBC PCB

BE6502 SBC is an open source PCB design by tebl, published on GitHub under the CERN-OHL-1.2 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 99.1 × 99.1 mm, with 61 components from 30 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the W65C02, HM62256BLP-7, 28C256, WD65C22 and 74HC00. By type, the board carries 21 resistors, 8 diodes, 7 ICs, 7 capacitors, 6 switches and 4 modules.

It belongs with the retro computing and dev boards & breakouts designs in this gallery.

From the project

A PCB being made while watching Ben Eaters "Build a 6502 computer" video series. Includes the computer itself, a standalone slow clock and an Arduino Mega shield for the bus monitor sketch..

The picture above shows an assembled and currently running version of the SBC-module (without LCD attached), here I used a female pin header so that the clock module could be slotted directly into place alongside it. I did however change this to use dupont-cables later, this was because the boards separated too easily without having a plate to screw everything into at the moment
