NRF52833 Based ScrollWheel Key

- Revolute currently simulate keyboard inputs, consumer controlls, mouse inputs.

- the actions and sensitivity of the wheel can be configured through the revolute configurator app that will be available for iOS, Macos and Windows devices that have bluetooth support.

- Configuratios done on revolute is persistently stored on device, which means that revolute can work on any device with Bluetooth and HID support.

Revopod1: common questions

What microcontroller does the Revopod1 use?

The Revopod1 is built around the ATmega328-A, from the AVR/Arduino family.

How big is the Revopod1 PCB?

The Revopod1 measures 60 × 37 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Revopod1?

53 components, from 34 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Revopod1 design files?

From the tongtongwang86/Revolute repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Revopod1 design in my own project?

It is published under CC-BY-NC-4.0, which limits how it may be reused; read the license before building on it.

Can I test firmware for the Revopod1 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug AVR/Arduino firmware against it before you order a PCB.
