All that pertains to FPGA development board

A custom-designed 8-layer FPGA development board based on the Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC, featuring DDR3 memory, high-speed interfaces, and multi-rail power architecture. Designed from schematic through PCB layout and hardware bring-up.

This project is a custom FPGA development board inspired by the Digilent Arty Z7 platform, designed around the Xilinx Zynq-7000 SoC. The board serves as a general-purpose hardware development and learning platform, with an emphasis on FPGA and ARM (PS/PL) co-design, sound, power and signal-integrity practices, manufacturable industry-style PCB layout, and realistic…

FPGA-Board: common questions

What microcontroller does the FPGA-Board use?

The FPGA-Board is built around the XC7Z020-1CLG400I__, from the FPGA family.

How big is the FPGA-Board?

The FPGA-Board measures 132.6 × 97.9 mm, has 8 copper layers and is 1.6436 mm thick.

How many components are on the FPGA-Board?

569 components, from 154 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the FPGA-Board design files?

From the AbdulAjadi1/FPGA-Board repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the FPGA-Board design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with AbdulAjadi1. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the FPGA-Board without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug FPGA firmware against it before you order a PCB.
