About the Clock input-3 PCB

Clock input-3 is an open source PCB design by carr-james, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board, with 20 components from 5 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 40106. By type, the board carries 9 diodes, 7 resistors, 2 ICs and 2 capacitors.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Reusable Eurorack circuit blocks (KiCad 10 design blocks) and house design rules

Conditions up to three external clocks, gates or triggers into clean CMOS logic levels.

Three copies of clock-input sharing one package. Each channel takes a signal from a jack and gives a clean 0V to +5V logic signal with the same polarity. It tolerates any voltage present in a Eurorack case, including negative swings from an LFO.

The circuit per channel is identical to clock-input. Read that block for the analysis; this one only changes the channel count.
