About the Cv mux-8 PCB

Cv mux-8 is an open source PCB design by carr-james, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board, with 8 components from 2 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the 4066. By type, the board carries 4 ICs and 4 capacitors.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Reusable Eurorack circuit blocks (KiCad 10 design blocks) and house design rules

Connects one of eight control voltages to a bus, chosen by a one hot select.

Eight analogue switches share one output. Each switch has its own control, so the select comes straight from the one hot STEP0 to STEP7 outputs of step-counter with no decoding.

The block does not buffer, scale or offset. It does not release the bus when the module is inactive. See "The block does not release the bus".
