From the project

Custom board designs for MiSTle projects

This is a work in progress. It's meant to become a half size keyboard inspired by the Atari ST series. It's meant to become the basis of some kind of Mini Atari ST based on the MiSTeryNano FPGA.

They keyboard is primarily designed to be a fully functional design suited for simple use cases like renaming a file or selecting game options. It's not meant to be usable to write texts or for any other productive use case.

Keyboard: common questions

How big is the Keyboard PCB?

The Keyboard measures 222.3 × 63 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Keyboard?

144 components, from 105 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Keyboard design files?

From the MiSTle-Dev/Boards repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Keyboard design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with MiSTle-Dev. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
