From the project

Custom board designs for MiSTle projects

This is the first complete custom board which does not need daughter boards like the Tang Nano 20k or the Raspberry Pi Pico.

The board features the Gowin GW2AR-LV18QN88C8/I7 FPGA present on the Tang Nano 20k and runs the same cores as that device including the NanoMig and MisteryNano.

This board can be manfactured through JLCPCBs assembly service using the production data.

Misterydev20k: common questions

What microcontroller does the Misterydev20k use?

The Misterydev20k is built around the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the Misterydev20k PCB?

The Misterydev20k measures 90 × 67 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Misterydev20k?

162 components, from 51 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Misterydev20k design files?

From the MiSTle-Dev/Boards repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Misterydev20k design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with MiSTle-Dev. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Misterydev20k without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
