From the project

This is my repo for the first version of full size micromouse development.

A competition-style micromouse robot on a custom 100 × 120 mm, 4-layer KiCad 10 PCB: ESP32-S3 module doing all control + wireless telemetry, a 2S power tree with a regulated 6 V motor rail, a BNO055 9-axis IMU, research- verified sensor geometry, and a fully script-generated, fully autorouted design.

Micromouse: common questions

What microcontroller does the Micromouse use?

The Micromouse is built around the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N8R2, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Micromouse PCB?

The Micromouse measures 100 × 120 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Micromouse?

177 components, from 54 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Micromouse design files?

From the MukeshSethy/micromouse-runner repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Micromouse design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with MukeshSethy. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Micromouse without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
