About the Carte BUS 1 PCB

Carte BUS 1 is an open source PCB design by PhysicsDptAngers, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 100 × 100 mm, with 52 components from 7 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 22 connectors and 12 resistors.

It belongs with the audio designs in this gallery.

From the project

Open source, analog and polyphonic synthesizer

- Capacity: Each BUS board supports up to 4 voice boards. - Mounting: Voice cards are mounted vertically to optimize space.

To configure the addressing: - Install resistors in series between each card. - Connect the resistor pin of the first card to GND (Ground) to complete the voltage divider. - The resulting voltage drop across the chain assigns a unique hardware address to each board.
