About the Power PCB

Power is an open source PCB design by PhysicsDptAngers, published on GitHub under the MIT license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 76.6 × 96.6 mm, with 3 components from 3 distinct parts.

By type, the board carries 2 ICs and 1 connector.

It belongs with the audio and power & battery designs in this gallery.

From the project

Open source, analog and polyphonic synthesizer

The synthesizer requires three voltage rails for proper operation:

- +12V rail for the AS3397 chip - +5V rail for the microcontrollers, various digital ICs, and as the positive supply for the operational amplifiers (OpAmps) - −5V rail required by the AS3397 and as the negative supply for the OpAmps

Several strategies have been considered for implementing the power supply.
