Update 21-August-2024: I learned that the IRQ line on the 65C22 wasn't connected, so I fixed that. See the section at the bottom for details, or just fab with the latest files and don't worry about it.

Have you ever wanted to buy a Vectrex, but you can't afford the high prices on auction sites? Do you already have a hoard of Vectrexes, but want another one? Well now you can build your own!

SCOPETREX: common questions

How big is the SCOPETREX PCB?

The SCOPETREX measures 177.8 × 127 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the SCOPETREX?

197 components, from 75 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the SCOPETREX design files?

From the schlae/scopetrex repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the SCOPETREX design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with schlae. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
