About the 80ColumnCard PCB
80ColumnCard is an open source PCB design by btb, published on GitHub under the Apache-2.0 license. It is a 2-layer board measuring 155.2 × 78.6 mm, with 47 components from 42 distinct parts.
Other key parts include the 74LS86, 74LS02, 2758/'16/'32, '64 - '512 and 74LS04. By type, the board carries 26 ICs, 8 resistors, 5 capacitors, 4 crystals, 2 connectors and 1 transistor.
From the project
An Apple II 80-Column Card. Based on the Videx Videoterm
This EPROM can hold one or two of the 2K character sets. A12-A15 are all permanently tied high, so only the top 4K of the EPROM is usable. The standard character set (e.g. "videx std 7x9 - top right.bin") goes in the lower 2K of that space, and any desired alternative character set (e.g. "videx inverse - top left.bin") goes in the upper 2K of that space.
