About the Pcb5 PCB

Pcb5 is an open source PCB design by horychen, published on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 93.9 × 51.7 mm, with 80 components from 31 distinct parts.

Other key parts include the MAX5725BAUP+, SN74ABT541 and LM224DR. By type, the board carries 34 resistors, 32 capacitors and 4 ICs.

It belongs with the robotics & motion and sensors designs in this gallery.

From the project

12 phase motor drive including inverter, microcontroller-mother-board, sensing, communication, DAC, etc.

ProjectEureka seeks to streamline the intricate design of robot systems, including communication, cable arrangements, and synchronization, by integrating several motor drivers (up to four) with a single microcontroller (DSP2837xD). This can also be utilized as a testing platform for bearingless motor or any other kind of AC motors. Pcb5: common questions

How big is the Pcb5 PCB?

The Pcb5 measures 93.9 × 51.7 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the Pcb5?

80 components, from 31 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Pcb5 design files?

From the horychen/ProjectEureka repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Pcb5 design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its GPL-3.0 license, which horychen chose for the repository.
