About the Sgb mbc5 1-4 PCB

Sgb mbc5 1-4 is an open source AVR/Arduino PCB design by MouseBiteLabs, published on GitHub under the CC-BY-SA-4.0 license. It is a 4-layer board measuring 110.7 × 69.8 mm, with 88 components from 42 distinct parts.

Its main chip is the ATtiny85V-10S, from the AVR/Arduino family. Other key parts include the CPU SGB, ICD2, 64K-SRAM, SYS-SGB and CIC. By type, the board carries 33 capacitors, 28 resistors, 14 ICs, 5 connectors, 3 diodes and 2 transistors.

It belongs with the retro computing designs in this gallery.

From the project

A replacement circuit board for improving the Super Game Boy, or for creating a standalone Game Boy game for the SNES.

This board is the MBC5 variant, useful for making standalone MBC5-based Game Boy games for the Super Nintendo. You can also use this board completely without the Game Boy parts to make an enhanced SGB board with link port and modified clock.

The zipped folder contains all the gerber files for this board. The following options must be chosen when ordering boards for yourself.
