From the project
ESP32 Based Wireless Skimmer Detector
A pocket-sized, dual-radio detector for wireless ATM & card-skimmer modules.
Hermes PRO is the next-generation successor to Hermes v0.1a. Where the original used a single ESP32 to scan Bluetooth Classic only, PRO pairs two radios — an ESP32-C5 (Bluetooth LE 5 + dual-band Wi-Fi 6) and an ESP32-WROOM-32E (Bluetooth Classic / BR-EDR) — so it can flag the widest possible range of skimmer hardware, old and new, from a single handheld device.

Skimmer-Detector-PRO: common questions
What microcontroller does the Skimmer-Detector-PRO use?
The Skimmer-Detector-PRO is built around the ESP32-WROOM-32E, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the Skimmer-Detector-PRO PCB?
The Skimmer-Detector-PRO measures 84.2 × 49.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the Skimmer-Detector-PRO?
65 components, from 38 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the Skimmer-Detector-PRO design files?
From the planmarks/Skimmer-Detector-PRO repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the Skimmer-Detector-PRO design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with planmarks. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the Skimmer-Detector-PRO without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
