This directory contains all the PCB projects. You will find the Gerber files in the respective Gerber/ folders. The BOM is in ibom format and can be found in the BOM/ folders where applicable. For very simple PCBs like the gamepad flex PCBs you will find the needed components in Part 5 of the project documentation.

If you need the BOM in CSV format, you can open the ibom files and export the content as CSV.

PS2 AIO Mainboard: common questions

What microcontroller does the PS2 AIO Mainboard use?

The PS2 AIO Mainboard is built around the RP2040, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the PS2 AIO Mainboard PCB?

The PS2 AIO Mainboard measures 121 × 83 mm, has 6 copper layers and is 1.1884 mm thick.

How many components are on the PS2 AIO Mainboard?

568 components, from 102 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PS2 AIO Mainboard design files?

From the tschicki/PS2-Portable repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PS2 AIO Mainboard design in my own project?

Yes, under the terms of its MIT license, which tschicki chose for the repository.

Can I test firmware for the PS2 AIO Mainboard without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
