A pomodoro clock kind of thing made out of neopixels! The numbers are represented as colors in the clock.

It also comes with 2 other cool modes, like:

- Random Mode : When enabled, it randomly lights up neopixels with random colors - RGB Mode: It cycles through all the colors one by one!

PixelDoro: common questions

What microcontroller does the PixelDoro use?

The PixelDoro is built around the XIAO-RP2040-SMD, from the RP2040/RP2350 family.

How big is the PixelDoro PCB?

The PixelDoro measures 98.2 × 88.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.

How many components are on the PixelDoro?

40 components, from 3 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the PixelDoro design files?

From the hackclub/pixeldust repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the PixelDoro design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with hackclub. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the PixelDoro without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug RP2040/RP2350 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
