About the SuperPixel PCB
SuperPixel is an open source ESP32 PCB design by hackclub, published on GitHub. It is a 2-layer board measuring 97.4 × 94.8 mm, with 38 components from 2 distinct parts.
Its main chip is the ESP32-C3_SUPERMINI_TH, from the ESP32 family. By type, the board carries 37 diodes and 1 IC.

My board is the Github Invertocat Logo, which they also sell on their shop: https://thegithubshop.com/products/1541981-00-invertocat-neon-light. Since it uses a ESP32, it can recieve audio from my computer and react to the audio, making it a sound-reactive light. If not connected, it can just act as a standby logo with rgb lighting. I also plan to design a stand for it in fusion.

SuperPixel: common questions
What microcontroller does the SuperPixel use?
The SuperPixel is built around the ESP32-C3_SUPERMINI_TH, from the ESP32 family.
How big is the SuperPixel PCB?
The SuperPixel measures 97.4 × 94.8 mm, has 2 copper layers and is 1.6 mm thick.
How many components are on the SuperPixel?
38 components, from 2 distinct parts, with part numbers taken from the project's own BOM. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.
Where can I download the SuperPixel design files?
From the hackclub/pixeldust repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout, the schematic and the BOM; the links under Design files point to each one.
Can I use the SuperPixel design in my own project?
The repository has no license, so all rights stay with hackclub. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.
Can I test firmware for the SuperPixel without the hardware?
Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
