From the project

Modular Electronics Workstation

The ModLab is designed to be housed in a 19" Rack with 3U. It is the improved version of the (failed) Arduino Workstation I built a long time ago.

But now It will be bigger, better and way too complicated.

Mainboard 767: common questions

What microcontroller does the Mainboard 767 use?

The Mainboard 767 is built around the ESP32-WROOM-32, from the ESP32 family.

How big is the Mainboard 767 PCB?

The Mainboard 767 measures 160 × 100 mm, has 4 copper layers and is 2.6062 mm thick.

How many components are on the Mainboard 767?

195 components, from 48 distinct parts. The full bill of materials is listed on this page.

Where can I download the Mainboard 767 design files?

From the Synthron/ModLab repository on GitHub, which has the KiCad layout and the schematic; the links under Design files point to each one.

Can I use the Mainboard 767 design in my own project?

The repository has no license, so all rights stay with Synthron. Use it as a reference, and ask the author before reusing the design.

Can I test firmware for the Mainboard 767 without the hardware?

Yes. HardLabs builds a simulation of the board from its netlist and BOM, so you can run and debug ESP32 firmware against it before you order a PCB.
